Heterocycle Resources: Part II
This PDF contains some very useful information including an organized table of common Hantzsch-Widman suffixes. A great deal of information can be determined from the suffix used in the name of a compound including the number of atoms in a given ring, the number and type of heteroatoms present, and whether the ring is saturated or unsaturated. The PDF also features the structures of several simple heterocycles containing oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur. Most of the compounds featured are nitrogen-containing aromatic compounds.
